We’re thrilled to share that today marks the start of our second month-long #BetterTogetherCA Book Club!

Back in March, California teacher Angela Barnett led our first slow chat on the book “Kids Deserve It.” In case you missed it, check out the recap from our March Book Club here and the recap from our Twitter Chat with the book’s co-author Adam Welcome here.

For the month of June, we’ll be reading “Educated by Design: Designing the Space to Experiment, Explore, and Extract Your Creative Potential” by author and California teacher Michael Cohen. It’s not too late to pick up a copy of the book and join us throughout June for a conversation with your teaching peers!

With feedback from teachers across the state, we are working to make a few improvements for our June book club. In addition to Twitter, we’ll be posting questions throughout the month to our new GoodReads Book Club group. We’ll post slow chat questions that you can respond to anytime throughout the month on GoodReads. To make sure we can all come together to discuss the book in more detail, our host Angela will also host Twitter chats weekly as well. Check out the schedule for our #BetterTogetherCA Book Club Twitter Chats below:

Even if you haven’t started reading just yet, feel free to join us for tonight’s 7 PM PST #BetterTogetherCA Twitter Chat — we’d love to have your perspective and voice add to the conversation!
