Preparing students for 21st Century Citizenship and Careers
This Better Together EdTalk East Bay event is an opportunity for teachers and anyone interested in science education to come together to learn more about the NGSS, California’s new set of expectations for scientific literacy. The doors will open at 5:15 p.m. for a buffet dinner. The program, beginning at 6 p.m., will include speakers Trina Ostrander of the Institute for Stem Education, and Jim Clark, Science Coordinator NGSS Implementation of San Lorenzo Unified School District. The evening will end with the speakers sitting on a panel to address questions and respond to comments from the participants. Listen, engage, and network!
