Critical Teaching in Action: Health, Wellness and Social Justice – bringing educators together to share innovative social justice curricula

How can educators attend to our own self-care while working to make positive change for youth and their communities?

This one day conference is dedicated to helping educators and youth handle the effects of stress and trauma and enact self-care practices for body, mind and spirit.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Mona Saint of the Chopra Center will discuss the stress response, our brain, and tools to upshift our physiology.

Exciting workshops address such topics as: Self-care in Trying Times,; Combatting Signs of Burnout; Stop, Drop and Meditate; Yoga and Youth; A Dog in School: Disruptive Behavior and Trauma; Art as a Tool for Restorative Practice; The Resilience Toolkit and many more!
